Don't Mind Them, Keep Going Forward ....

OK, you are afraid of what people MIGHT think, say or do. Right?

Did you know that there are many GREAT THINGS we fail to ACCOMPLISH just because we FEAR what PEOPLE might think, say or do?
If you live in reaction to what people think, say or do, you will never be able to think, say or do anything meaningful with your life, which is God’s desire and plan for you. People in your life can be assets but they can also be obstacles to your progress. So, don't always mind them. If you do, you would be sacrificing your future on a low alter.
I know it's not easy to admit that we are afraid of people but sometimes we are. So afraid that we are afraid to admit we are afraid. What I found is -most of our fears come from minding what people MIGHT think, say or do if we live what we believe. So, I have made up my mind not to think, say or do things in REACTION to what people think, say or do but to think, say and do things in RESPONSE to what God thinks, say and DID for me through JESUS CHRIST. Minding people breeds fear but minding God breeds faith (BOLDNESS TO ACCOMPLISH)

Why? People will ALWAYS think, God created them with minds. People will ALWAYS speak, God gave them mouths. People will ALWAYS do what they feel or like, God gave them freedom of choice. Trying to stop people from thinking, speaking and doing things they like is actually stopping yourself from moving forward because you CANNOT STOP PEOPLE from using their God-given ABILITIES.

A bEtteR alternative to REACTING to people is RESPONDING to God. I encourage you to stop thinking, saying and doing things in REACTION to people's thoughts, words or deeds and start thinking, saying and doing things in RESPONSE to God's thoughts, words and deeds through Jesus Christ. If you mind God, you will move forward but if you mind people you will move backward.

God's thoughts about you are really good stuff. His promises are very true. His work of redemption for you on Calvary is real and complete. Anything going around in or around you and telling you otherwise is the voice of the devil. You will do yourself a favour NOT to agree with the Devil even when he appears to be right. Any truth the devil tells you is only APPARENT, NEVER AUTHENTIC. He knows how to take the truth out of context. He did just that to Jesus during the great trial. (Luke 4). Only God has the real Truth- Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)

Yes, ALL your problems may not vanish immediately just because you choose not to believe what the devil is saying to you but NONE of your problems will be solved if you choose to believe him. The first step is deciding WHO to really BELIEVE! If you do not take the FAITH step, you will never arrive at your desired destination in life or see any positive change in your present circumstances. GREAT FAITH is key to GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

God's word on the subject:

8 ...“Do not let your prophets and fortune-tellers who are with you in the land of Babylon trick you. Do not listen to their dreams, 9 because they are telling you lies in my name. I have not sent them,” says the Lord.
10 This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years (in your present situation for only a period; not forever). But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised and I will bring you home again. 11For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:8-11. New Living Translation)

Jesus Christ Defeated the Devil and Gave Us Victory, Hallelujah!

dURInG the Battle of the Waterloo in 1815, Emperor Napoleon and the Duke of Wellington were in a fierce combat in the south of Brussels, Belgium. The destinies of Europe at that time hung in a balance. It is reported that at the close of the battle, the English people were anxiously awaiting news of the result. Their only means of communication then was a system of signal lights flashed across the English Channel. The fog became so dense that only a part of the message could be made out. What they saw was "Wellington defeated." When the English people read this, gloom settled upon them; they were doomed. Then all of a sudden the fog lifted and they received the whole message, "Wellington defeated the enemy." Joy erupted and jubilation broke out throughout the land. –anonymous

Try to imagine what was going on in the minds of Jesus’ disciples after he was crucified and confirmed dead. They were understandably devastated.

How could Jesus who performed all those miracles be dead and buried? What hope do we have if Jesus who claimed to be the Son of God die just like that? Gloom and despair filled the air. Fogs of doubt rested on the disciples. All they could see was one meaning to the sad event, "Christ defeated." All hope was gone; Christ was dead. It was a sad event. Hearts were broken. Faith was in question. Day one passed. Then day 2 came and went by.

But when Easter morning came on the third day, the news of Christ’s resurrection lifted the fog of doubt from every eyes: the grave is empty. JESUS IS RISEN, "Christ defeated, the Devil" How glorious!

The good news that came to the disciples on Easter morning is still good news to everyone today. Humanity is longer under the bondage of Satan. By dying and rising from the grave; Christ conquered Satan and gave mankind victory over sin and all the consequences of sin including sickness, poverty, and powers of darkness. Christ’s resurrection means permanent victory for the believer. We now have eternal life because of what Jesus has done. Rejoice!

Thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.1Cor 15:57
